Fábio Cardoso is being sought after by MLS clubs, Record has learned. The 31-year-old centre-back, who was on loan to Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates last season, is returning to FC Porto, with whom he has a contract until the end of next season, and his future remains unknown.
According to information gathered by our newspaper, several North American clubs have made approaches to the Portuguese defender, although the processes are still at an early stage.
The central defender, who was national champion with FC Porto in 2021/22, is linked to the club until 2026, but at the moment it is unknown whether he will join the squad when the Dragons start training next Wednesday at Olival. Fábio Cardoso has played 78 games for the Dragons.
