5,600 young Novgorodians passed the main state exam in mathematics

The day before, more than 5,600 Novgorod ninth-graders wrote the OGE in mathematics. Let us recall that this is a compulsory subject. 40 examination points (EPP) were formed in the region.

“ Another 720 children took the State Final Exam at 33 PPEs ,” the Novgorod Region Ministry of Education reported, referring to the State Final Exam (GVE) — a form of final certification developed for certain categories of schoolchildren who, due to objective circumstances or health conditions, cannot take standard exams in the form of the Unified State Exam or the Basic State Exam.

We would like to add that for those Novgorod residents who, due to health reasons, could not attend traditional examination sites, 9 home-based PPEs were organized.

Further analysis of the results will allow us to assess the level of training of graduates and identify areas for improving the educational process.
