Acron Group continues to implement projects in the field of sustainable development and improving the quality of life

Acron Group, a Russian vertically integrated producer of mineral fertilizers, invested RUB 3.9 billion in sustainable development activities in 2024, which allowed it to implement a number of projects that are important for the company and strategically significant for the regions where it operates. Expenditures on the environment, labor protection and industrial safety, social programs for employees, as well as the socio-economic development of the regions where it operates increased by 25% compared to 2023.

The company makes a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the regions where it operates, being an attractive employer and a responsible taxpayer, and actively participating in the economic activities of the country's regions, improving the quality of life of employees, their families and local residents. Acron Group annually signs social partnership agreements with local authorities. Expenditures on socio-economic development and support for charitable programs in 2024 increased by 10% and amounted to 859 million rubles.

One of the key areas of Acron Group's sustainable development is social support for employees, which includes expenses on health protection, medical care, employee insurance; personnel training and development; promotion of sports and a healthy lifestyle; attracting and retaining highly qualified personnel, as well as cooperation with educational institutions and the implementation of targeted social programs. In the reporting year, the company invested 1.2 billion rubles in social support activities for employees - 21% more than in 2023.

The company pays close attention to environmental protection. The Group's enterprises work in the environmental sphere in the areas of protecting the atmosphere and water resources, as well as reducing the impact of industrial waste on the environment. In the area of ​​water resources protection, PJSC Acron and PJSC Dorogobuzh carried out measures to maintain the trouble-free operation of biological treatment and hydraulic structures, organized industrial environmental control over the quality of waste and treated waste water, as well as water bodies, and implemented measures to preserve and restore biodiversity in the regions of presence. The activities of enterprises in the field of waste management were aimed at reducing the volume of waste generation, introducing technologies for its reduction. Environmental costs in the reporting year increased by 2.5 times and amounted to 435 million rubles.

Ensuring safe working conditions for employees, as well as minimizing risks associated with the production process, is the company's priority in the field of industrial safety. In the reporting year, Acron allocated 1.3 billion rubles to implement labor protection and industrial safety measures, which is 20% more than in the previous year. In 2024, Acron was awarded the status of an attractive employer, according to the Superjob portal. In addition, the company received several awards based on the results of ESG competitions and prizes, as well as high marks in the main ESG ratings.
