The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi said that the organization's experts have found no evidence that Iran is developing nuclear weapons.

In an interview with CBS, he stressed that despite the lack of such evidence, Tehran has not provided full answers to the agency's key questions.

"We didn't see the program aimed at that, but at the same time they [Iranian authorities] did not answer some of the very, very important questions that were asked," he said.

Grossi noted that IAEA inspectors have repeatedly found uranium particles in undeclared locations but have never received a convincing explanation from Iranian authorities. He rejected pressure from some countries to declare Iran's nuclear weapons, stressing the organization's commitment to objective analysis.

"And we've been asking for years, why are we finding these uranium particles in these places? And we just haven't gotten credible answers," Grossi concluded.

Earlier it was reported that Iran is capable of quickly resuming uranium production.
