Iran is capable of resuming enriched uranium production within a few months. The country has the necessary industrial and technological resources to launch a number of centrifuge cascades, said Rafael Grossi, director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
"They could have, within a few months or less, multiple cascades of centrifuges spinning and producing enriched uranium," Grossi said, according to CBS.
He stressed that it is impossible to claim that Iran has no nuclear activity, since the potential for it still exists. In this regard, he once again called on the Islamic Republic, Israel and the United States to return to negotiations to resolve issues related to the Iranian nuclear program. Rafael Grossi noted that the conditions for reaching a corresponding agreement now exist.
