Life-filled photographs by a Novgorod resident with disabilities will be shown at the Gorod Palace and the White Door project

An unusual photo exhibition will open next week, on September 20, within the walls of the Palace of Culture and Youth "Gorod". The exhibition "There Lives Such a Guy" will introduce the viewer to the works of Timur Iskeyev, a young man who has experienced many difficulties on his path due to illness, but is able to notice the beauty of the world in the moment. This exhibition is another project of the photo gallery "White Door".

"We called the exhibition "There Lives Such a Guy", and it is about simple, familiar moments that create the canvas of our everyday life. Only if you look closely and listen, you will notice that this canvas does not have threads at all, but strings - pulsation, trembling, the sound of the author's soul. The Sound of Life, - comment the organizers, photo artists Anna and Vladimir SHCHELKANOV . - You are unlikely to understand, looking at the exhibition works, that they were made by a person with disabilities. And it is a special joy that Timur's cerebral palsy did not become an obstacle to his love for life, embodied through photography ."

This is the first personal exhibition of the young author. The opening will take place next Saturday, at 13:00, in the DKM "Gorod" (Pskovskaya Street, 1, hall of the 1st floor). Afterwards, the guests will see a performance by the theater of unlimited possibilities "Zhest" "This cat again!" The exhibition will be open until October 1 every day from 10:00 to 21:00. Admission is free.
