Russian military personnel have significantly expanded their control zone near the village of Stupochki in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) this week. This was reported by retired Lieutenant Colonel of the People's Militia of the Luhansk People's Republic (NM LPR) Andrei Marochko in an interview with TASS .
According to him, Russian soldiers established fire control over a section of land north of the settlement, as well as over a section of the road used by the Ukrainian military.
“In principle, we can say that the Konstantinovka-Artemovsk highway has already been physically cut off by our troops,” the agency’s source said.
Earlier, Marochko reported that Russian troops had taken control of a section of the highway near Yunakovka in Sumy Oblast. He noted that the enemy was deprived of the opportunity to regain previously lost positions.
