Next Monday, Novgorodians will be shown the true history of the war by the Defense Ministry propaganda train

Veliky Novgorod is among the cities that were lucky enough to receive the agitation and propaganda train "Unity in Memory. Strength in Feat!" The train will arrive in our city on June 30. The exhibition filling of its carriages is dedicated to the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.

Organized by the Russian Ministry of Defense and Russian Railways, the train will travel through 61 regions of Russia. The main goal pursued by the organizers is to honor the memory of the heroism of the Soviet people during the war, to resist the distortion of historical facts, to tell about the exploits of the Armed Forces and to strengthen the connection between the army and the people.

From 12:00 to 16:30, Novgorod residents and guests of the city will be able to see an exhibition of captured equipment captured during a special military operation, as well as visit thematic carriages with unique exhibits for free. Among the items on display to the public are declassified archival documents from the Great Patriotic War.

The propaganda train consists of 8 carriages, each revealing different aspects of history and modern times. The exhibition "Unlearned Lessons of History" will tell about the birth of Nazism, the fight against it in Ukraine and will demonstrate trophy items from a modern "hot spot", the SVO zone. The carriage "The Time of Heroes Chose Us" is dedicated to the continuity of generations, uniting the heroes of the Great Patriotic War and special operation fighters. The other carriages present the Ground Forces, Aerospace Forces and Airborne Forces, the Navy, information about contract service and training opportunities in military educational institutions. It is especially worth visiting the carriage dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory: it will present declassified documents "Without a Statute of Limitations...".

"Also, during the train's stop, a creative program and collection of humanitarian aid for the participants of the special operation will be organized. And the youth discussion platform "Russia is our Motherland, and its defense is our duty!" will provide an opportunity to discuss issues of defending the Fatherland and the prospects of contract service with the participation of veterans of the SVO," the organizers report.
