Russian Post maintains financial stability thanks to service optimization

The organization's operating profit has remained positive for the second year in a row. According to the results of 2024, this figure exceeded five billion rubles. Despite industry inflation of about 28 percent, Russian Post managed to reduce expenses by 76 billion rubles compared to the 2022 level.

It is worth noting that Russian Post compensates for the costs of services provided at regulated under-indexed rates at its own expense. However, even taking this into account, over two years the company has allocated seventeen billion rubles to increase the wage fund. The organization also independently finances social deliveries, including free shipments to the special operation zone and shipments in the Kursk and Belgorod regions, having spent 0.96 billion rubles on this.

From 2022 to 2024, Russian Post's revenue from new areas of activity increased by 13.8 billion rubles. There is an increase in revenue from delivery for e-commerce, warehouse services and fulfillment services, and revenue from the electronic postal system has grown by almost 50 percent over two years.
