The US announced the destruction of another vessel in the Pacific Ocean.

The US military carried out another strike on a vessel in the Eastern Pacific Ocean at the direction of US President Donald Trump . Pentagon Secretary Pete Hegseth announced this on the social media platform X.

There were four men on board the vessel; they were killed. According to Hegseth, US intelligence discovered that the vessel was involved in illegal drug smuggling, was following a known drug trafficking route, and was transporting drugs. There were no casualties among US military personnel, he added.

Earlier, Hegseth reported that the US had carried out three strikes on drug cartel vessels in the Pacific Ocean, killing 14 people. The defense chief promised to continue the hunt for "narcoterrorists" to protect the United States.
