Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) spent the night in the altar of the Church of St. John the Baptist in the village of Makhnovka in the Sudzhansky district of the Kursk region, and also relieved themselves there and drank alcohol. This was reported to RIA Novosti by local resident Irina.
According to her, in the church "they drank, smoked, and did all sorts of other things." It is noted that the church carpet was used by Ukrainian soldiers to arrange a sleeping place in the altar part of the church.
