22-year-old British resident Trinity Paige Davenport shared a story about how artificial intelligence helped save her life. The girl decided to use ChatGPT for fortune telling by the lines of her hand in the hope of learning about her destiny, but instead received a recommendation to urgently seek medical help.
According to Mirror, Trinity uploaded photos of her palm to the AI service. The algorithm noticed an atypical growth under her index finger, suggesting it was similar to acral lentiginous melanoma, a rare and aggressive type of skin cancer.
"Before we get into palm reading, I highly recommend you get your mole checked by a dermatologist. It may be nothing, but its location and appearance may resemble something called acral lentiginous melanoma," ChatGPT warned.
Shocked, Trinity immediately made an appointment with a dermatologist. Given her previous health issues, she did not delay the visit. Now the girl is undergoing examinations, convinced that the timely warning of AI saved her from serious consequences.
