A prisoner in a women's prison in Mozhaisk, Moscow Region, gave birth to her fifth child

An emergency birth occurred in the women's penal colony of Mozhaisk, Moscow Region: a 38-year-old convict gave birth to a boy. As reported by the portal "Moskovskaya Oblast 24", the call to the institution came in the middle of the night.
The ambulance arrived on the scene within half an hour. The birth began quickly, and the baby was born right in a car parked on the territory of the colony.
According to doctors, the newborn is full-term, his condition is satisfactory, no pathologies were detected. After examination, the mother and baby were transported to the Naro-Fominsk Perinatal Center for further observation. This is already the fifth child of the convicted woman.
It is noted that for the Mozhaisk ambulance substation this is the third birth accepted within the walls of the colony. Previously, doctors also provided assistance to women in labor in similar conditions, which indicates the need for constant readiness of teams for emergency situations in correctional institutions.
