Euthanasia of stray dogs is being introduced in Khabarovsk Krai

Euthanasia of stray dogs has been permitted in Khabarovsk Krai. This decision was made after a series of attacks by mongrels on people, including children.

The new law allows dogs that attack, seriously injure or kill a person to be euthanized. Packs of four or more dogs are also covered if they pose a threat to others.

In addition, the region has introduced mandatory registration of pets, which will help establish responsibility for them.

Previously, the law on euthanasia of stray dogs was withdrawn from consideration in Transbaikalia.
