Ovchinsky: Spring and Labor Day to be celebrated at the Moscow Model site

Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Department of Urban Development Policy of the capital, which is part of the Complex of Urban Development Policy and Construction of the City of Moscow Vladislav Ovchinsky reported that during the May holidays, from May 1 to 4, the "Moscow Model" pavilion at VDNKh invites guests to a special program dedicated to the Spring and Labor Day. As part of the program, guests can expect excursions, quizzes, music and light shows.

"Such events in the Moscow Model pavilion are an opportunity to explore the capital and its sights without leaving the building. Guests will be able to get to know the city from an unusual angle and examine the architectural features of historical sites," the press service of the Moscow Department of Urban Development Policy quotes Ovchinsky as saying.

During the holidays, the pavilion is open daily, except Mondays, from 10:00 to 20:00. Visiting the pavilion is free, and from May 1 to 4, free excursions will be held during the day, where you can learn how the model of the capital was created, about the radial-ring layout of Moscow, and why it is called the city on seven hills. Every half hour, the hall will show thematic light shows dedicated to the history of the city and its architectural styles. Guests will be able to take part in the cultural program themselves, singing their favorite songs about the city in karaoke.
