Temporary restrictions on airport operations have been introduced in Ulyanovsk and Samara. This was reported by the press service of Rosaviatsia.
In order to ensure the safety of civil aircraft flights, temporary restrictions on their acceptance and release have been established at the airports of Samara and Ulyanovsk, the department said in a statement.
Earlier, the Saratov airport suspended operations to ensure safety. The air harbor does not accept or release aircraft, Rosaviatsia clarified. Rosaviatsia also banned Russian airlines from flying to four countries: Israel, Iran, Iraq and Jordan. This is due to the escalation of the situation in the Middle East.
In addition, there were reports of more than 20 flights from Russia to the United Arab Emirates being cancelled. The cancellation affected over three thousand passengers.
