Russia names number of cancer patients by 2024

In Russia, doctors have identified almost 700 thousand cases of oncological diseases by the end of last year. This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing data from the Russian Ministry of Health.

The exact figure for detected malignant neoplasms in 2024 looks like this: 698,693 cases. It is noted that compared to 2023, the number of detected oncological diseases has increased by more than 24 thousand.

It was noted earlier that the increased number of detected cases is not so much due to the fact that more citizens are getting sick. Technology and technology are developing, so it is possible to detect cancerous growths at early stages.

According to the Ministry of Health, more than 60% of neoplasms were detected in this way.
