Pranksters Vovan (Vladimir Kuznetsov) and Lexus (Alexey Stolyarov) plan to contact representatives of the Ukrainian government to get confirmation from them that the call centers of telephone scammers deceiving Russians are part of the war against the Russian Federation. Vladimir Kuznetsov told RIA Novosti about this.

According to him, the purpose of this is to obtain confirmation of what is generally known. At the same time, Stolyarov noted that the plans include obtaining confirmation from representatives of the Kyiv regime that the activities of the fraudsters are part of the information and economic war against Russia.

Earlier, Vovan and Lexus announced the start of the fight against telephone fraud and shared information about the transformation of this criminal activity. They noted that many Russian citizens have an outdated idea of telephone scammers. According to them, today it is not so much prisoners who engage in fraudulent extortion as call centers located in Ukraine and operating with the support of the Kyiv authorities.

This year, Vovan and Lexus decided to reorient their activities from political figures to exposing these fraudulent structures.

Vladimir Krasnov and Aleksey Stolyarov, known by their aliases Vovan and Lexus, have gained notoriety for their prank calls on famous people. They operate in the style of "prank journalism," posing as other people, confusing them with unexpected information, and extracting sensitive details about the lives and views of their "targets," who are sure they are communicating with someone they know.
