MTS Bank announced the release of digital financial assets on the CFA Hub platform. The investor was AlfaStrakhovanie-Life LLC. The total volume of CFA amounted to 5 billion rubles. This was reported by the press service.
“We see broad prospects for the use of digital financial instruments in Russia and are implementing them in our business, including for diversifying our own funding sources,” noted Eduard Issopov, Chairman of the Board of MTS Bank.
As the company explained, the issuance of digital financial assets continued the bank's strategy to strengthen its position in the digital financial assets market. MTS Bank plans to expand investments in technology and expertise.
"Our strategy for digital assets is a comprehensive plan that is not limited to new issues. MTS Bank is developing the infrastructure for interaction with digital financial assets, expanding the product line, and entering into partnerships. We are also launching educational initiatives aimed at improving the financial literacy of clients in the field of digital financial assets," added Eduard Issopov.
The developer, creator and operator of the platform is Blockchain Hub LLC, which is included in the register of operators of information systems of the Bank of Russia.
