Emilie Kiser's Friend Avery Woods Honors Late Son Trigg After Death
Avery Woods is showing support for her friend during an unimaginable time.
The influencer debuted a subtle tribute to pal Emilie Kiser's late son Trigg, who died May 18 following a drowning incident at their Arizona home.
In a June 2 TikTok video, Avery wore a silver necklace with a round pendant reading "Trigg" in honor of the 3-year-old.
"Been awhile since I put makeup on," she captioned the "Get Ready With Me" video, "so thought I’d get ready for our anniversary [heart] missed you."
Her friends and followers quickly noticed the sweet gesture, with makeup guru Jaclyn Hill commenting, "The necklace [angel wings] you are such a good friend Avery."
Influencer Samantha Jo added, "so beyond glad she has you, I love you."
Trigg was rescued from a pool in Emilie's backyard May 12 and taken to a local hospital, where he ultimately died nearly a week later.
Emilie—who also shares 2-month-old Theodore with husband Brady Kiser—has yet to speak out on social media about her devastating loss. However, her lawyer has provided some insight into how she's navigating her grief.
"Emilie is going through a parent’s worst nightmare right now," the attorney wrote in a May 27 lawsuit obtained by E! News. "She lost her young son."
According to the suit, filed against Maricopa County public offices to keep details of Trigg's death private, "Emilie is trying her best to be there for her surviving son, two-month-old Theodore. But every day is a battle."
Emilie's stepbrother Nick Espinosa later shared a veiled message about his family's loss as well, saying in an Instagram video that he received “a call you never saw coming” and is mourning “a goodbye you didn’t get to say.”
“Life will always throw you a curveball,” Nick, whose Instagram has since been made private, said in a voiceover. “One day, everything feels aligned. You're making progress, chasing purpose, moving forward. Then just like that, everything changes.”
