Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Criticizes Helsinki's Policy Towards Moscow
Mutually beneficial cooperation between Russia and Finland has ceased at the initiative of Helsinki, said Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev.
The politician shared his opinion in a column published by TASS entitled “The New Finnish Doctrine: Stupidity, Lies, Ingratitude.”
Medvedev stressed that he recently visited the Russian-Finnish border in the Leningrad region and discussed the situation with local authorities and border guards.
He noted the lack of any movement on the border, although it used to be busy. According to the politician, normal and mutually beneficial relations built over decades have now been completely destroyed by Helsinki's decision.
