An athlete from the Yamal region has entered the Russian national mas-wrestling team for the first time in history

For the first time in the history of the Yamal region, a local athlete, Edaikhasova Klimov from Panayevsk, has joined the Russian national team and will take part in the European Mas-Wrestling Championship. This was reported by the head of the Yamal region, Andrey Kugaevsky.

"In the photo, he is holding the cup in the center. A major international competition will take place in November in the Slovak city of Banska Bystrica. The team was formed based on the results of the national championship. Zemlyak will compete in it together with representatives from Yakutia, Moscow, St. Petersburg and other regions of the country. This is a historic achievement and pride for the entire municipality," Kugaevsky wrote on his social networks.

He promised to root for Panaevets with all his heart.
