Who can get this nice bonus?

Firstly, tax residents of Russia – both citizens of the Russian Federation and foreigners who are in the country for more than half a year and pay income tax. This includes officially employed people, freelancers and individual entrepreneurs working under civil-law contracts, if their income is subject to personal income tax.

Secondly, parents and guardians can apply for a tax deduction for sports activities of their minor children, including adopted children and those under guardianship.
