Sochi residents win two gold medals at Russian Judo Championship

The Russian Judo Championship has ended in Saratov. Judokas under 15 from nine federal districts of the country took to the tatami. The prize winners included those from Chita.

According to the Sochi Department of Physical Culture and Sports, Daniella Arutyunova and Darya Gavrilova climbed to the top step of the podium. The first competed in the 52 kg weight category, the second in the 63 kg weight category.

Another medal – silver – was won by Robert Vareldzhyan in the 42 kg weight category.

Earlier, MK in Sochi wrote that the Sochi team came in first at the Krasnodar Region Judo Championship.
