130 people trapped in snow in Lebanon reached

The Lebanese official news agency NNA reported that the Lebanese army carried out 17 evacuation operations in the north of the country, reaching 130 people.

While it was stated that transportation was difficult in some parts of the country due to snowfall , it was reported that work was continuing to open the closed roads to access.

It was announced that the 700-meter-high Terbol Mountain in the north of the country was covered in snow and snow was also seen on the Minye coast.

While it was reported that schools were closed in the parts of Lebanon affected by the snowfall, warnings were issued about cold weather conditions in many Arab countries.
