A news reporter who entered the flood and broadcast was swept away by the current.

Monsoon rains, which hit Pakistan between July and September, have caused widespread destruction this year. Floods following heavy rains in the eastern province of Punjab have killed 159 people and injured 300. Authorities say most of the deaths were caused by roof collapses.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced the declaration of a "state of emergency" in some areas due to worsening weather conditions.
REPORTER SQUEEZED BY CURRENT One of the most striking images of the flood disaster was captured during a broadcast from the water by Ali Musa Rıza, a reporter for local channel Ruhi TV. "You see, the water is pushing me," the reporter said on air, "It's very difficult to stay here. I have to get to safety," before being swept away by the floodwaters.
It was reported that Rıza was broadcasting from the water to highlight the hardships faced by the local people. The reporter is reportedly in good health.
