A young woman was hit by a garbage truck in a terrible accident in Esenyurt.

The accident occurred around 18:40 on 1828th Street in the Mehmet Akif Ersoy Neighborhood of Esenyurt. Allegedly, Neşe Dökmeci (35) was hit by a garbage truck while trying to cross the road. The woman, who was trapped under the truck, was seriously injured. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon receiving a report.
The injured woman was taken to the hospital by ambulance after receiving first aid. The garbage truck driver was taken to the police station for questioning. Despite all efforts at the hospital, Neşe Dökmeci, who was seriously injured, could not be saved and died.
