An accident, like attempted murder!

A car driven by a 14-year-old unlicensed driver hit Meral Bilgin Kaydan, who was sitting in front of her workplace in Tuzla.

According to DHA, Kaydan, who was rescued from under the car after an hour and a half of work, was found to have broken waists, while the unlicensed driver who was detained was released. The accident was recorded by the workplace's security camera.

The accident occurred in Tuzla on February 11. According to information received; the 14-year-old driver, who was on the road with two friends, lost control of the car and hit Meral Bilgin Kaydan, who was sitting on a bench in front of her workplace at the time. While Kaydan was under the car, the driver and his friends who got out of the car asked for help from those around. Health, fire and police teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification.

Fire crews arriving at the scene pulled Kaydan out of the car after working for 1.5 hours. The injured man, who was given first aid by the medical team at the scene, was taken to the hospital with fractures in his waist and various parts of his body. The unlicensed driver was released after the incident, and the accident was recorded on a security camera before, during and after the accident.

According to İHA news, the unfortunate woman, who suffered fractures in her back, bruises on her legs and bruises on various parts of her body due to the accident, described the moments of horror she experienced.

Meral Bilgin Kaydan, who said that they had a busy work schedule on the day of the incident and that she was sitting on a bench to take a break, said, "A few minutes had passed when I heard a loud noise on the bench I was sitting on. Before I could understand what was happening, I found myself under the car. I didn't even have a chance to escape. When I opened my eyes, I felt pressure on me, people were shouting, but I don't remember much of it. When the rescue teams arrived, my entire left side was numb. The car was sitting on me, my neck was under the wheel. The crane and the excavator came. It took them 1 and a half hours to get me out of there."
