Antalyaspor Technical Director Emre Belözoğlu: 'I want to create a team that suits Antalyaspor'

The 38th and final week of matches are being played in the Trendyol Super League . In one of the notable matches of the week, Onvo Antalyaspor and Trabzonspor faced each other in Antalya. The match ended with Trabzonspor leading 2-0.
Onvo Antalyaspor's technical director Emre Belözoğlu made a statement at the press conference held after the match.
Emre Belözoğlu, who stated that they left a difficult year behind and that it was a great experience for him, said, "Living these in such an atmosphere, in a beautiful city like Antalya, was a great experience for me. It was very valuable to finish the league in a good position and beat strong teams in terms of games and scores at home."
Expressing that they had an undeniably successful period at Antalyaspor, Emre Belözoğlu noted that he had a year with positive aspects and that he was very happy as a whole.
When asked by a journalist, "Was this a farewell speech?" Belözoğlu responded as follows:
"There is no farewell. I have a contract for one more year. I had to thank them. Everyone who is devoted to Antalyaspor has great expectations. I want to be here this year, to create a stronger squad, to create a team with bigger goals, to create a team that can play in the front block with more dynamic players, that suits Antalyaspor."
Emre Belözoğlu stated that he wants to be in Antalya and serve Antalyaspor if a team that tries to do better quality work is established.
Emre Belözoğlu, who was reminded of his statement that 13-14 million euros were needed to continue his duty at Antalyaspor after the Eyüpspor match, made the following assessment:
"I didn't ask for that money for myself. I want to stay here. I wanted to stay with a very strong team. My team did a very good job. I don't want to mention what we experienced here. If these conditions don't change, even if it's not me or another coach, Antalyaspor will have a very difficult year ahead of them. This is a must for the transfer ban to be lifted, the transfer budget and the receivables of the current players. That's the purpose of me stating the figure. I'm not coming to Anatolian clubs to make money. I've never received compensation when I left any Anatolian club in the past. I've never been a financial burden to Antalyaspor or any team. I said that this figure was needed for Antalyaspor's success, not for myself."
