BREAKING NEWS: Ukraine reaches agreement with US for mining deal

Ukraine and the US have reached an agreement on precious metals, gas and oil. According to reports, the US has lifted the $ 500 billion condition, and Ukraine has agreed to sign. In addition, the agreement will not cover projects that Ukraine has already made a profit from. It was agreed that 50% of the minerals, gas and oil to be extracted in the future will be taken. The US does not promise security guarantees to Ukraine within the framework of the agreement.
STATEMENT FROM THE WHITE HOUSE
White House Spokesperson Leavitt made an assessment of the precious metals agreement expected to be signed between the US and Ukraine at a press briefing. The Spokesperson stated that the current US administration attaches great importance to this agreement and that Trump's Special Representative for the Middle East Steve Witkoff postponed his Middle East trip to focus on this work, and said that the agreement would benefit both the US and Ukraine.
"The signing of this agreement is critical. President Trump expects Zelenskyy to sign this agreement. It will offset the American tax dollars that fund Ukraine's defense and create a lasting economic partnership with Ukraine, which has been through hell because of the war," Leavitt said.
Leavitt said Trump is determined to see the Russia-Ukraine war end. "He wants to see the bloodshed and the deaths stop. The president inherited this mess because of the incompetence of the previous administration and he is determined to fix it. He is very determined to get a peace deal in Russia and Ukraine and also in the Middle East," she said.
TRUMP HAD ANNOUNCED
US National Security Advisor Mike Waltz said yesterday that he believes Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy will sign a precious metals agreement with the US soon.
US President Donald Trump stated on February 3 that they wanted to buy rare earth elements from Ukraine. Stating that the war in Ukraine should end, Trump emphasized that if the US continues to provide support to Ukraine, there should be a response for this.
