Drug operation: 153 detained

According to the information shared by the Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya, as a result of the work carried out by the Istanbul Provincial Police Department Anti-Narcotics Branch Directorate; the "Narkokapan-14: Martyr Bora Barış Güler" operation was carried out simultaneously in the Gaziosmanpaşa and Kağıthane districts against street vendors.

As a result of the operation, 153 suspects were caught. In addition, 25.5 kilograms of heroin, 17 kilograms of methamphetamine, various amounts of skunk, cocaine and narcotic pills, 3 precision scales, 4 unlicensed pistols, 1 unlicensed pump-action rifle and a large amount of foreign currency and Turkish lira were seized during the operations.
