Forest fire in Ödemiş on its 2nd day: 1 dead

The fire that broke out in the forest near the Monastery location of Tosunlar Neighborhood in Ödemiş district of İzmir at around 21:00 yesterday spread to residential areas in Suçıktı Neighborhood. The flames that spread to some houses were extinguished with the intervention of the fire department.

While the intervention in the fire that broke out yesterday in the forest near the Manastır location of the Tosunlar Neighborhood in the Ödemiş district of İzmir continues by air and land, the Köseler Neighborhood, where the flames were approaching, was also evacuated as a precaution after the Tosunlar and Suçıktı neighborhoods.
