He looks after the paralyzed Mıstık, who was told to be put to sleep, like a baby: 'Like my child'

Murat Turan , who is engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry in the Zigana village of the district, gave birth to a goat with paralyzed hind legs a month ago. When Turan noticed that the legs of the goat he named ' Mıstık ' were not working, he immediately took him to the vet. The vet first suggested tying the goat's feet to wooden boards.
However, in later check-ups, it was understood that Mıstık was missing cartilage and fibers in his back waist, and therefore he was in pain and had no chance of walking. Different veterinarians in the city also recommended that 'Mıstık' be put to sleep so that he would not suffer any more. Thereupon, Murat Turan decided to keep 'Mıstık' alive by looking after him at home, as he did not want to be put to sleep. Turan took on the care of his goat, for which he created a special living space in his house, and started to meet his daily needs. Murat Turan designed a special walker for his goat, whom he fed with a bottle, so that he could move more comfortably. Turan, who started working to design a more useful walker, continues his struggle for Mıstık, whom he feeds like a baby.

'HE IS LIKE MY CHILD'
Murat Turan, who said that he did not have the heart to put Mıstık to sleep, said, “The vet tied a board to his feet and told me to untie him after a week. However, in the check-ups that were done later, I learned that Mıstık had no cartilage or fibers in his back waist. He had no chance of walking. I did not have the heart to put him to sleep, how could I knowingly put this creature to sleep? May God take my life and give it to him. He is like my child, he has become a friend with whom I share my loneliness. We spend time together, sometimes we watch TV, sometimes we spend time outside. It has been a month, I have gotten used to him. I look after him like my son.”
'I WILL FIGHT FOR HIM'
Turan, who is trying to have a walker made to provide freedom of movement for Mıstık, said, "The first walker I had made was a bit too small, we will make a new one with 2 more wheels. I am doing my best to make him move more easily. After all, Mıstık is also a living being and has the right to live. I will fight for him. I live here with my 24 goats, 5 dogs and pigeons."
