Heartbreaking news from Konya! Truck crashed into police vehicle

One police officer was martyred and two others were injured when a truck crashed into a moving police vehicle in Konya .

The accident occurred at around 17:45 at the junction of Okyar Street and Saadet Street in Tatlıcak Neighborhood of the central Karatay district. According to information received, a truck crashed into a police vehicle in motion at the junction. Police officer Onur S., who was in the police vehicle, was martyred at the scene of the accident. Other police officers in the vehicle, OD and HS, were seriously injured. A large number of police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. The injured police officers were taken to Konya City Hospital by ambulance and treated.
