Israeli drone that crashed in Lebanon exploded during inspection: 2 soldiers killed

According to Lebanon's official news agency, NNA, an Israeli army bomb-laden drone fell on a construction machine in the town of Naqura, in the city of Tyre.

Two Lebanese soldiers lost their lives when a crashed UAV exploded while they were being examined.

Condolence message from the President and the Prime Minister

Following this incident, President Joseph Aoun conveyed his condolences to the Lebanese army.

In his message, Aoun said, "The army is paying the price with its blood for maintaining stability in the south."

Prime Minister Nevvaf Selam also called Defense Minister Michel Menassa to express his condolences for the two soldiers.

Selam said, "The army is the safety valve, the bastion of sovereignty and the basis of national unity."
