Massacre-like accident on the Malatya-Kayseri highway! 4 dead, 2 injured

According to reports, a car with license plate 23 BC 278 and a light commercial vehicle with license plate 16 BTE 244, whose drivers have not yet been identified, collided in the Bayramuşağı area. Emergency services, police, AFAD, and UMKE teams were dispatched to the scene following the report. Initial reports indicate that four people were killed and two were injured in the accident. The injured were taken to hospital by ambulance.

IDENTITIES OF THOSE WHO DIE IN THE ACCIDENT HAVE BEEN RECOGNIZED

The identities of those killed in the accident, which occurred as a result of a collision between a light commercial vehicle and a car in Malatya , have been revealed. The deceased were identified as the light commercial vehicle driver, Mehmet Şirin Çakıcı (45), as well as passengers Saliha Tosun (74), Zöhre Gökalp (58), and the car driver, Enes Çelik (29).

Among the injured in the car in the accident, Kübra Çelik (29) and her son Bartu Vedat Çelik (3) are still receiving treatment. Autopsies on the four deceased individuals are ongoing at the Forensic Medicine Institute.
