Protest against Netanyahu in front of UN office!

Dozens of civilians who participated in the protest gathered in front of the UN building and reacted to Netanyahu's statements regarding Israel's occupation of southern Syria.
Holding signs that read "Syrian flag", "No occupation is legitimate, even if time passes", "No to Israel, we are free from generation to generation" and "No to all occupation", the demonstrators chanted slogans such as "Syria belongs to Syrians".
Ibrahim Muhammed, who attended the protest, told AA correspondent that they gathered here today to protest against Netanyahu's statements and the impositions of the outside world.
Stating that they defend the unity of Syria, Muhammed said, "We do not accept any external intervention in the internal affairs of Syria. The revolution began with the aim of building a Syria for all Syrians and now we are in the process of reconstruction."
Muhammed also emphasized that Syrians should get back on their feet without foreign intervention and said that the whole world should respect Syria's sovereignty.
Another protester, Kenan Atar, said, "Occupation is occupation and nothing lasts forever. We will never give up our rights, even if they are difficult to obtain."
"This is a bold statement. If we remain silent and do not go out, things will continue as they are and no one will take a step against this oppression," Atar said.
Activist Nur Geybe, who attended the protest, said they absolutely rejected Netanyahu's statements.
Describing the statement as an open attack on the sovereignty of the Syrian state, Geybe said, "No state has the right to interfere with the sovereignty of another state. Talking about whether there is a state in the south of Syria is entirely an internal Syrian matter."
Geybe said that Netanyahu's excuse of "protecting minorities" was unacceptable, adding, "It is not possible for someone who shed the blood of the Palestinian and Syrian people to claim that he can protect any human being."
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in his speech at a military graduation ceremony yesterday, referred to the Israeli occupation of southern Syria and said, "We will not allow the new regime forces to enter the region south of Damascus. We demand the complete demilitarization of southern Syria."
