The countries with the highest work-life balance and quality of life by 2025 have been revealed. The study, which evaluated numerous social criteria such as working hours, maternity leave, annual leave entitlements, and healthcare services, found New Zealand and Ireland topping the list, while Turkey's ranking is noteworthy.
NEW ZEALAND AND IRELAND ARE AT THE TOPNew Zealand received the highest score in the quality of life index. Topping the list with a score of 86.9 out of 100, the country offers its employees 32 days of annual leave and 26 weeks of fully paid maternity leave. Ireland comes in second with 30 days of leave and 26 weeks of maternity leave at 70% pay. Both countries also improve their employees' living standards with universal healthcare.
STRONG PERFORMANCE OF SCANDINAVIAN COUNTRIESNorthern European countries like Norway, Denmark, and Finland also ranked highly for their long maternity leave and high paid leave entitlements. Norway, in particular, provides significant support to employees by offering 100% paid maternity leave of up to 49 weeks. These countries successfully foster work-life balance with comprehensive healthcare systems.
