Vehicle crashed into barrier in Çatalca, disintegrated, 1 non-commissioned officer died

The accident occurred at around 10:00 at the Büyükçekmece junction in the Çatalca area. According to the information obtained, the car with the license plate 34 DZC 538, in which Gendarmerie Specialist Sergeants SS, İ.B. and Emirhan Altın were driving to go home, crashed into the barriers for an unknown reason when it reached the junction. The FIAT EGEA brand vehicle was thrown for meters due to the impact. Citizens in the area who saw the accident called the medical teams. The teams that arrived at the scene took the 2 injured specialist sergeants to the hospital. Petty Officer Emirhan Altın (24) lost his life at the scene. While many military personnel came to the scene of the accident, police teams conducted their examinations. Altın's lifeless body was taken to the morgue after the initial examination.
