"I received the loan from Ziraat Participation, not Ziraat"

Former AKP MP, Deputy Prime Minister, and Ziraat Bank Deputy Chairman Veysi Kaynak, who was revealed to have received a 265 million Turkish Lira loan from the bank he manages for his company , "Kuvva Gıda," spoke to Sözcü. Kaynak said, "I received a loan from Ziraat Participation, not Ziraat Bank. I didn't receive one from the bank I manage, and I have no debt."
The information contained in Kuvva Company's independent audit report was as follows: "On October 7, 2020, Kuvva mortgaged a property in Istanbul to Ziraat Bank for 16 million lira. Similarly, in 2023, Kuvva mortgaged a property to Ziraat Bank for 135 million lira."

'I DON'T HAVE ANY DEBT'
In 2023, Veysi Kaynak showed his real estate worth 20 million TL in Başakşehir, Istanbul and his real estate worth 50 million TL in Ankara as mortgages at Halk Bank for the loans he used from Kuvva.” In his assessment to Sözcü, the source said, "I don't owe the bank anything; the statement in the audit report was written by mistake." Ziraat Bank General Manager Alpaslan Çakar had also stated the day before in a statement to the Parliamentary State Owned Enterprises (KİT) Commission, "Kuvva doesn't have a single lira loan from Ziraat Bank. Since they're board members, this is already a crime. How can that be? If there is, I'm reporting it. Let them look into it. It's out of the question."
The Elit Independent Audit Firm, which prepared the audit report for Kuvva Gıda, founded by Kaynak, also issued a statement, claiming that Veysi Kaynak's company had not received a loan from Ziraat Bank and that these statements were included in the documents inadvertently.
