6.7 magnitude earthquake strikes Indonesia

A 6.7 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Indonesia's Maluku province.

The earthquake, whose epicenter was about 180 kilometers southwest of Tual, Maluku, was recorded at a depth of about 65.7 kilometers, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).

According to the USGS, no casualties or property damage have yet been reported from the 6.7 magnitude earthquake.

There was no tsunami warning following the earthquake.
