Famous people donated blood to the Red Crescent and called on Türkiye

Celebrities drew attention to the dwindling blood stocks during the summer months and invited every healthy individual to become a regular blood donor, emphasizing that blood is not an urgent need but a constant one.
Celebrities have shown support for the Turkish Red Crescent, which works to meet Türkiye's blood needs through voluntary and regular blood donors. As with previous years, rising temperatures across the country have impacted blood donations, and celebrities have taken responsibility for donating blood to the Red Crescent to meet the needs of the sick and injured, while also calling on the entire community to take action.
News anchors Nazlı Çelik and Cem Öğretir, among the celebrities who appeared on camera to support the "We Are Closely Committed to Each Other" campaign, emphasized that even a short time spent donating blood can be vital for another person. Famous artists Hande Subaşı, Deniz Uğur, Berk Ali Çatal, Gökberk Demirci, Tolga Güleç, Burcu Kıratlı, Demet Şener, and Taner Rumeli also donated blood and urged others to support the cause.
Supporting the campaign, Nazlı Çelik said, "No one knows how valuable blood is until it happens to them, until they end up in the hospital. As we help others, as we share, as we help each other, we multiply."
Cem Öğretir said, "I'm here to invite you. Connect wholeheartedly with someone else through a small process."
Hande Subaşı, who donated blood to the campaign, said, "The Red Crescent is perhaps one of our oldest institutions."
Deniz Uğur emphasized the importance of blood donation, saying, "It takes a short time, and you can give blood safely. We can be a source of hope for many people. We are deeply connected to each other. Let's never forget that, shall we?"
Berk Ali Çatal made the call, saying, “Do not forget that we are all deeply connected to each other.”
Gökberk Demirci emphasized the vital importance of blood donation, saying, “Blood donation truly saves lives.”
