In a statement released by Sabiha Gökçen Airport Airport Authority HEAŞ, it was announced that a total of 832 flights were carried out at the airport yesterday and 148,059 passengers were hosted. It was stated that these figures were recorded as the highest daily flight and passenger numbers in the airport's history, and that HEAŞ congratulated all employees and stakeholders who contributed to this success. Operations will continue on a single runway until July 27 due to the start of electrical infrastructure work on Sabiha Gökçen Airport's second runway, numbered 06R-24L, yesterday.
