Tekirdağ fire on the 3rd day!

The fire, which started in agricultural land in Tekirdağ's Şarköy district on Tuesday, July 15, and spread to a forested area, has been extinguished for 42 hours. Fire crews have partially brought the blaze under control.

Water trucks, fire trucks, and water tankers continue to work in the area. The smoke density has decreased as the winds in the area ease.

Tekirdağ Governor Recep Soytürk and General Director of Forestry Bekir Karacabey are managing the work in the region from AFAD's Mobile Coordination Center.
