Uncle opens fire on nephews after arguing with them! 2 dead

The incident occurred around midnight in a detached house on Altunhisar Street in the Fatih Sultan Mehmet neighborhood. FY and his nephews, Gazi Zafer Yaman, Güven Yaman, and MS, who had a feud for an unknown reason, began arguing. The argument escalated into a fight, and during the ensuing brawl, FY's uncle opened fire on his nephews with a gun. Three relatives hit by the bullets collapsed to the ground, bleeding profusely. Bystanders who heard the gunshots reported the incident to the 112 Emergency Call Center.

Following the report, paramedics and police were dispatched to the scene. Upon examination, paramedics determined that Gazi Zafer Yaman and Güven Yaman were dead, while MS, who was injured, was taken to hospital for treatment. His uncle, FY, who was also at the scene, was taken into custody by police. After crime scene teams examined the street and the house, the bodies of Gazi Zafer Yaman and Güven Yaman were taken to the morgue for autopsies. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

According to the decision published in the Official Gazette with the signature of AKP President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Afyonkarahisar Health Sciences University Rector Prof. Dr. Nurullah Okumuş was appointed as Deputy Minister of Health.

The decree also appointed new rectors to four universities. The appointments are as follows:

Prof. Dr. Cengiz Yılmaz was appointed as the Rector of Abdullah Gül University, Prof. Dr. Adem Akçakaya as the Rector of Bezm-i Alem Vakıf University, Prof. Dr. Atilla Arkan as the Rector of Ibn Haldun University, and Prof. Dr. Bahadır Kürşat Güntürk as the Rector of Istanbul Medipol University.
