Famous singer files lawsuit against former manager for 'scamming me'

Singer Sevcan Orhan agreed with her manager Harun Belenkogullari, with whom she had worked for 2 years, for a 20 percent commission per job. However, when Orhan realized that her manager had taken much more than her share, she went to court.

According to Sabah newspaper, he claimed that they had done 50-60 jobs and that he did not know how much damage he had caused, but that his former manager had defrauded him.

Belenkogullari denied the accusations.

The prosecutor's office filed a lawsuit against Belenkogullari for "abuse of trust in service", requesting a sentence of 7 years in prison. The case will be heard in the coming days.
