Following the signing ceremony, TAI Chairman Ömer Cihad Vardan commented, "We have signed a very important contract. We have signed a very important contract on behalf of our country. I would like to thank all our friends who contributed to this project. Today, we are talking about the work of Turkish engineers. We are talking about the work of the Turkish people. There is a detail we must not forget here; it is actually very important: the leadership and vision of our President and our ability to move towards the goals he has shown us. In this context, as you know, we were able to produce Kaan. About a month and a half ago, we signed a contract for the delivery of 48 Kaan missiles. We have already initiated this contract today. The contract includes 48 Kaan missiles. If you want to be among the world's leading countries, you need to be at the cutting edge of technology and maintain your presence in the defense industry. The fact that we can develop all these platforms at this level is a testament to this. With our current technological capabilities, we can do this virtually without needing any foreign resources," he said.
