On the Hunt for New Headphones? Our Favorites are $100 Off This Weekend.

On the Hunt for New Headphones? Our Favorites are $100 Off This Weekend.

AirPods are the wireless headphones, the ones to beat. Ever since the originals came out in 2016, they have been ubiquitous. I'm a huge fan of the AirPods 4. The AirPods Pro 2 are the model I'd recommend to most people. And we still stand by when we called the AirPods Max Apple's best product in years. There's a model for whatever you might be looking for, and the good news is that right now they're all on sale.

Thing is, they're often on sale in some capacity. With all the Prime Days and Black Fridays and whatnot, we're drowning in tech deals these days. But that said, we actually have a deal worth shopping today. The 20-ish percent off both the earbuds is fine—typical but a great price to grab them for. The real deal is $100 off the AirPods Max. The lowest these ever get is around $429, but that's exclusively a holiday-times deal. If you need a new pair of Bluetooth headphones now, this is the best deal you're going to get before Black Friday.

I won't bore you with the nitty-gritty, because we've written all of that elsewhere. What I will say is the AirPods Pro 2 are the everyman model. If you want something for commutes or workouts, or when you need a little noise canceling to kill the sound of your yard equipment while you listen to a podcast and cut the grass, the AirPods 4 are the less technical model for Luddites like me. You can get them with noise canceling, or you can pay a mere $100 and get them plain-Jane. Then, the AirPods Max are the big dog of critical listening numbers. My fiancée has a pair, and I swipe them whenever a new album I really care about comes out. With Apple Music (of which I'm a devoted user), you get lossless streams, and the AirPods Max actually come close to studio headphones. Can't go wrong with any model, especially when we're seeing deals like we are right now. Grab a pair, load up the new Oasis live sets, and stop scrolling.
