Prince Harry Offers Olive Branch to Royal Family

According to the Daily Mail, the gesture aims to prevent Harry and his wife Meghan Markle's events from clashing with the Royal Family's schedules, thus deterring any claims that the Sussexes are trying to steal the spotlight from the Royal Family.

A source close to the family told the newspaper, “The Sussex family has offered to create a calendar of Harry’s activities and share it with Buckingham Palace. This will also keep Kensington Palace informed, ensuring Prince William and Kate Middleton are aware of the plans.” The same source added, “Harry still doesn’t like being controlled by the royal machinery, and we shouldn’t expect this to change. However, if the Royal Family were informed of Harry’s movements in advance, they could adjust their own schedules accordingly.”

Harry's offer was described as "an important peace step" in the British press.
