Serdar Ortaç's confession about Tarkan: 'I will apologize'

Serdar Ortaç, one of the most prominent figures in Turkish pop music from the '90s, appeared as a guest on YouTuber Orkun Işıtmak's program "Pink Lies." Connected to a lie detector as part of the program's format, Ortaç attracted attention with his candid statements and remorseful confessions.
"CURSING TARKAN WAS A BIG MISTAKE"Ortaç also spoke about his contemporary, Tarkan, on the program, expressing regret over a past incident. The artist explained that Tarkan was one of the first people to call him after he was diagnosed with MS, adding:
"Tarkan had called me and supported me. But I was drunk at a program, and when Tarkan was constantly mentioned, I got angry and swore. I regret it very much. I will apologize at the first place I see."
"GAMBLE ENDS EVERYTHING"The question posed to Ortaç, "Have you lost $50 million gambling?" was also noteworthy. The artist gave the following striking answer:
"I have lost all the money I have earned in my life. I don't know how much it is, it is impossible to count. Gambling lowers a person's standard; it destroys his quality, his family, his money, his marriage, his health. I don't want to have a single penny, but I want to be able to walk on my own two feet."
